Memberships
Academy of Certified Archivists.  I successfully sat for the Certified Archivist exam in August 2015 and was notified that I passed the test in September 2015.  I am thrilled to be a Certified Archivist and look forward to helping to further the profession through my membership.
Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference (Membership Development Committee, 2010-2015). I attend MARAC meetings as frequently as my schedule and budget will allow. So far, during my tenure with the membership committee, I have participated in efforts to design, create, and distribute a new membership lapel pin. I also assisted in creating a new membership survey designed to collect demographic and other data whose intent is to evaluate how best for MARAC to serve its membership.  I am honored to serve as the Chair of the Membership Development Committee from Spring 2015 through Spring 2017.
Delaware Valley Archivists’ Group. I make it a point to attend as many DVAG meetings as my schedule will accommodate.  I always learn or see something fascinating!
Archives Month Philly. I participated in the planning committee that resurrected Archives Month Philly in 2013 and again in 2014.  In 2014, event I was most involved in was a fabulous talk entitled, “The Greatest Musical Wonder in the World” given by the wonderful Rick Seifert at the Heritage Center of the Union League of Philadelphia.  I always love going to any of the Archives Months events I can make it to!
-I attended THATCamp Philly in 2011 and was recently delighted to be invited to return to the 2012 session.
